Error: 0x800F0922 when installing KB 2919355

This error may appear for multiple reasons. Some common causes are VPN clients and an unexpected System Reserved Partition size.

Try removing any VPN Clients and attempt the update again.

You might be able to fix this problem by using third-party software to increase the size of the System Reserved partition.

If you have tried both solutions and you still experience Error 0x800F0922 please contact Microsoft Support so that we can further investigate your issue.

    Have you run DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    since the update was installed? 

    There are reports the update may cause that command to fail.

    Already did it.  Still fails on KB2919355.

    I'm also having this problem.  I'm trying to find a simple solution (so far, from what I've seen, it's an impossible dream).  Been trying to download both this update and KB2961908, without success for almost a week now.  

    For KB2961908, I get the error message of 800F0922, and for KB2919355, I get the error message of 80070002.

    Is there a solution that people who don't speak computer will understand?  Because not all of us can do so, and I don't have the time or patience to be on the phone for three plus hours trying to fix an update that is supposed to work but just *doesn't.*I'm getting rather annoyed at Microsoft for not only shoving out an update without even making sure that they work out the bugs first before releasing it, but also not even giving their users a simple solution to fix the problem and forcing said users to spend countless hours with tech support to get it fixed.

    Hello,  Windows 8.1 Update for x64-based systems (KB2919355)  wouldn't install and kept the hard-drive spinning for days.   Once I removed the   "Classic Shell" program which makes the interface more friendly, the update installed.   Several more updates installed after that.   My culprit was "ClassicShell.net" --- great user interface, but I guess MS doesn't get along with it.
