I know the following to solve all KB2919355 issues, and pasted below are the two tutorials. The first is one that was written to get rid of the component store corruption that 2919355 causes, of which the computer you're working on has. You will need to do a repair install (tutorial at the bottom of Tutorial 1). The second tutorial is how to get 2919355 installed after the repair install, however, you should be able to install 2919355 fine after the repair install. If it still fails, then follow the second tutorial.

Hi. I have a question about this (and the other) proposed solutions -- how does KB2961908 ("security update for x64-based systems without KB2919355 installed") tie into these solutions? I'm getting error 800F0922 when trying to install KB2961908 -- my impression was that it is best to get this one installed first before trying to get KB2919355 working.. not sure if that is actually the case?
I can't recall at this point if I've already tried (and failed) to get KB2919355 itself installed after the former failed, and I'm bit reluctant to try to do so until figuring out what is the expected order.
