Microsoft Mahjong Daily Challenge games not loading

I have the same problem, there is no way to uninstall the Mahjong Daily Challenge or the Xbox. Bummer, because I really enjoyed the daily challenges.

Please somebody post a solution to this problem.

Does the microsoft engineer not read English,there are many of us out there who do not want to update to 8.1,does this mean we have to just put up with this problem?

Come on microsoft are you too big to bother with your customers now?

Please sort this problem.

Just for the record, updating to 8.1 will not fix this problem.  I have 8.1 on my system with all of the most recent security patches and updates applied and Daily Challenges were working fine on it until around April 1st when this game and Minesweeper and probably others no longer automatically log users in to their Xbox live account (or even allow them to manually log in) which makes Daily Challenges inaccessible.

I have been told that the developers are not able to reproduce this very real problem which doesn't give me a lot of hope this will ever get fixed.  In any case, still waiting...

I can only play a few games and then the tile begins spinning and it doesn't stop. I can't even go back to the start. It is quite frustrating?? I can't seem to resolve the problem.

I had trouble with the loading issue.  July 1 will not load 2 games.  Many games in June would not load, but enough did that I was able to make the gold medal in Mahjong.  I do not know about the other games because I do not have an Xbox and cannot access the other daily challenges.

I have Windows 8 and have tried the fixes.  I tried purchasing the Premium version hoping it was the ads that shut it down.  Normally I get a black 'flash' and then it goes to loading.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  Out of the 6 challenges in 2 days 1/3rd do not work.  Very disappointing!!!

I will NOT upgrade to 8.1.  I have heard from friends if I don't like 8.0 I will HATE 8.1.  It crashes and doesn't fix a lot of the issues with 8.0. 

I have had to deal with Office 365 for over a year and a half and have so many reference numbers for support I had to start keeping a separate notebook.  This is just more of the same, in my opinion.  We were not notified when one of the issues we were having was 'fixed' with an update, just didn't do it anymore, for which we are extremely grateful.

Please fix this, put in a link to a REAL fix for Win 8.0 and get it over with.  I paid $10 to try to fix it and it still doesn't work.  Fix or give me my money back please.
