Microsoft Mahjong Daily Challenge games not loading

Just for the record, updating to 8.1 will not fix this problem.  I have 8.1 on my system with all of the most recent security patches and updates applied and Daily Challenges were working fine on it until around April 1st when this game and Minesweeper and probably others no longer automatically log users in to their Xbox live account (or even allow them to manually log in) which makes Daily Challenges inaccessible.

I have been told that the developers are not able to reproduce this very real problem which doesn't give me a lot of hope this will ever get fixed.  In any case, still waiting...

Does the microsoft engineer not read English,there are many of us out there who do not want to update to 8.1,does this mean we have to just put up with this problem?

Come on microsoft are you too big to bother with your customers now?

I have the same problem, there is no way to uninstall the Mahjong Daily Challenge or the Xbox. Bummer, because I really enjoyed the daily challenges.

Please somebody post a solution to this problem.

Like I wrote in my previous post, uninstalling and reinstalling the apps did not get rid of the problem for me.  A connection cannot be made with Xbox and Daily Challenges remain inaccessible with the same error message.

Really frustrating because I just swept new fastest times on Intermediate and Expert levels, and now it won't be properly recorded since I'm not logged in with my Xbox Live account.
