For Feb 3, 2014 - the Classic game won't load. On Feb 4, the Lightning Tiles game won't load, and on Feb 6, the Golden Tiles games won't load. The other two games on each of those days work just fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

8.1 crashed my computer and prior to that my Seagate Harddrive barely worked with it. Now I am back to Windows 8 and Microsoft Mahjong Daily Challenges work maybe 1/2 the time. I have tried all the fixes suggested on various Support websites, I even talked to Microsoft Support who had a whole laundry list of reasons not to help while admitting they could. Is this problem really that bad.
The same thing happened to me. But I didn't have much luck with the remedies suggested.

Upgraded to Windows 8.1 (two hour process), uninstalled Mahjong then reinstalled and now everything works fine. Seemed like an awful lot of work to play a simple little game.
Updating to 8.1 was my next step, but I'm not sure I want to give 3 GB to an update just to play some games. I agree with you that Windows 8 should be supported
