Microsoft Mahjong Daily Challenge games not loading

For Feb 3, 2014 - the Classic game won't load. On Feb 4, the Lightning Tiles game won't load, and on Feb 6, the Golden Tiles games won't load. The other two games on each of those days work just fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Since daily challenge is one of my favorite games I am thrilled to report I fixed my glitch.  So what I did, I loaded windows 8.1 as I was running 8.  I'm having no problem with that program.  After I was still have issues with the game.  I uninstalled the game then reinstalled it.  And viola it is all corrected and I have been able to go in and play the games that wouldn't load before.

    You downloaded & installed 3.5GB of thrash (a virus called Windows 8.1) just to fix a small glitch in a game? Wow the extremes people do for Microsoft! Hats off to you.

    Please do let us know when your computer starts to break down, hardware failures, drivers screwed up, software incompatibilities, this not working, that no working. You do know that once you upgraded to Windows 8.1 there is no way you can go back to old OS. Not even the Refresh PC or Restore can fix.

    I have the same problem as described by SL2252 message.

    When is Microsoft going to fix this?

    Just like everyone else, certain individual games in the Daily Challenges do not load. The spinning tile gets stuck on the loading screen & nothing happens. It has been like this since February 2014.

    I've tried the wsreset.exe fix & updated the Apps but they were useless. Waste of time!

    I've previously updated to Windows 8.1 but it was a DISASTROUS operating system that broke my computer. Hence I'd reverted back to Windows 8 & REFUSED to upgrade.

    Microsoft, I need a fix to this game loading hanging problem. I do not accept "update to Windows 8.1" as a solution because your new OS is garbage & sucked big time!

    Nope! Like everyone else this just started happening in February which coincidentally(?) seems to have happened last year at the same time--deducing from a quick online search.
