windows 8.1 clock running fast post update

Since I have updated to windows 8.1 the clock is running, I have had to reset the date and time every day off by several hours, some times by a couple of days, I did not have any problems before I updated. I have an ACER W510 tablet

If microsoft communicate telephonically send them by mail the KB. Now I'm trying to download it and if it solves the problem.

So glad I found this thread. I've got an HP Envy X2 with the same issue. It intermittently goes forward by a couple of days and a few hours. I don't notice the time is wrong most of the time until OneDrive fails to sync. After I fiddle around trying to get sync engine host running properly for 20 mins or so it's really annoying to find that the problem is the system time. I sort the time and OneDrive does what it's supposed to once again.

Roll on July's patch Tuesday :-)

The fix will be released as part of July month patch Tuesday (8th of July) rollup. If you want to get the fix before that you have to call MS support and request them. The KB number to reference is 2972624.

Forces the clock to correct itself (every 45 minutes) even when it is off by days.
