windows 8.1 clock running fast post update

Since I have updated to windows 8.1 the clock is running, I have had to reset the date and time every day off by several hours, some times by a couple of days, I did not have any problems before I updated.  I have  an ACER W510 tablet

    I would suggest you to ensure that you have installed all the latest updates through Windows updates and check the result.

    I have a touch screen tablet, so I am not able to push the windows key and R at the same time, I do not have a third party program for time keeping on the tablet, as I said before I did not have this issue until I updated to Win 8.1.  I have done all the other test, and check the bios clock and every thing and every thing was working the way it should.  The only thing that fix the problem is turning off the Set Time Automatically then turning it back on. I can turn my tablet off, and turn it back on within a half hour and have the time change but up to 24 hours. So to me it looks like something in the WIN8.1 program.

    Hi Gary,

    Thank you for replying with the status.

    Do you  have any third party program which controls time and date settings?

    If you  have any third party applications, you may uninstall specific program and check for the issue.

    Let’s first check for the status of Windows Time and restart the same check if that makes any difference.

    a. Press Windows key + R,

    b. Type services.msc and hit ENTER.

    b. Locate Windows Time.

    c. Check the status. You may stop and restart the service.

    I have checked everything you requested, and the BIOS time is correct, the files were also verified, the problem seems to be with the "Set time automatically" all I have to due is turn it off, wait a few seconds turn it back on and the time is set correctly.  As I said on my first post I never had a problem until I updated to Windows 8.1. and it acts like it is not looking at the BIOS for the clock time when the computer is started.

    I have the same problem with a Dell pc tablet. Everything is setup correctly. It is an issue of Windows 8.1.

    Suggestion are wellcome in order to solve the problem.
