Event 7001 in the Event Viewer

All the services that you mention are the way you suggest but i still get Event 7001 in the Event Viewer and my expensive HP (Windows 7 64 bit 16- hundred euros) entertainment laptop has been rendered worthless due to random Freezes costing me hundred of lost hours and emotional agitation.

I have checked the memory for integrity, made all latest windows Updates, checked for viruses, updated all my devices in Device manager, Clean/Unclean booted, Safe/unsafe mode no god damn luck. My laptop even freezes in safe mode. I am about to through it off the window unless you save it the last minute.

    Update the Nvidia Graphics driver to version 8.17.12.6099:

    I have the latest version 9.18.13.3158 (15/10/2013) installed. Should i downgrade?

    I do not think one is an upgrade for the other. I may be mistaken.

    went ahead and installed it.

    Checking inDevice Manager -> Display adapters -> NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M driver

    the Driver Version has been downgraded to version 8.17.12.6099 of 16/10/2010

    while i had version  9.18.13.3158 of 15/10/2013

    also running windows update, now, produces 2 optional updates to the graphics adapter

    i am curious why HP hasn't updated their site yet. I might keep it for a while see what happens.

    Meanwhile, do you have any good ideas about why i get these errors.........?

    Actually, installing this driver was a bad choice because now i can't log in to my computer.

    Safe mode freezes

    Normal mode freezes

    Startup repair freezes

    Booting from Windows Repair Disk freezes

    i am out of options...

    I write this text from my daughter's computer.....

    I am pretty sure that the problem lies with windows 7 64-bit CORE drivers.

    Seems to me that 64-bits is not as mature as 32-bits....

    I wonder if Microsoft or HP will refund me for trashing this pc
