All the services that you mention are the way you suggest but i still get Event 7001 in the Event Viewer and my expensive HP (Windows 7 64 bit 16- hundred euros) entertainment laptop has been rendered worthless due to random Freezes costing me hundred of lost hours and emotional agitation.

I have checked the memory for integrity, made all latest windows Updates, checked for viruses, updated all my devices in Device manager, Clean/Unclean booted, Safe/unsafe mode no god damn luck. My laptop even freezes in safe mode. I am about to through it off the window unless you save it the last minute.

Please post a copy of your dump file as a shared file to your Sky Drive with a link here.

The dump file will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your Sky Drive. To get a report on all drivers select Edit, Select All followed by File, Save Selected Items.

Please provide a copy of your System Information file. Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key (alternative is Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information). Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed. You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload to your Sky Drive, share with everyone and post a link here. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode. The request for a copy of this file is additional to answering the question about make and model.

There is no dump file. C:\windows\minidump folder is empty (i have enabled hidden files/folders in Folder Options). I think this might be because when i got the BLUE SCREEN the computer froze right there and i had to hard reset it.

Just to elaborate, after all the above freezing took place, the computer worked fine for the rest of the day which is driving me really crazy.

A new day Dec 14 2013 same old problems.....

    1. Turn the pc on
    2. Crank my favorite internet news radio station on chrome
    3. Grab cup of coffee and visit my favorite gossip newspaper (www.newsit.gr)
    4. 1st Freeze of the day while scrolling down the news page <hard reset>
    5. 2d Freeze comes right after, on Windows 7 Welcome screen <hard reset>
    6. 3d Freeze next on Windows 7 Desktop while on idle <hard reset>
    7. I am not stupid. Go to Safe Mode. Visit same newspage see what happens. Freeze again while in safe mode. <hard reset>
    8. Back toNormal Mode. Freeze on Windows 7 Desktop <hard reset>
    9. Back to **Safe  Mode.**View same newspaper with IE. No Freeze. View it now with Chrome. No problem <soft restart pc to normal mode>
    10. Back to Normal Mode. View again the same newspaper with Chrome. No problem.
    11. Still going with no problems ... for how long?

    Conclusion? Nothing.
