Event 7001 in the Event Viewer

All the services that you mention are the way you suggest but i still get Event 7001 in the Event Viewer and my expensive HP (Windows 7 64 bit 16- hundred euros) entertainment laptop has been rendered worthless due to random Freezes costing me hundred of lost hours and emotional agitation.

I have checked the memory for integrity, made all latest windows Updates, checked for viruses, updated all my devices in Device manager, Clean/Unclean booted, Safe/unsafe mode no god damn luck. My laptop even freezes in safe mode. I am about to through it off the window unless you save it the last minute.

    this is a long standing issue with window 7 that has not been resolved by Microsoft since 2009.

    Meanwhile, i am left staring at a blank screen because everything i try results in a computer freeze.

    This seems to be a low level device driver or firmware at the foundation of the system creating instability.

    This is indicated by the fact that the system freezes at the BIOS level when no or very little OS has loaded yet.

    I wonder if reflashing the BIOS would do any good.

    Values at idle.......

    Hardware reserved:11mb

    In Use:~1450mb

    Modified:~60mb

    Standby:~2260mb

    Free:~300mb

    I was able to receive Application, System events logs as well as system info but the comuter froze when i opened IE to access SkyDrive. Good thing i saved them on a usb stick to upload from my tablet.

    Upon freezing with IE open the values were...

    Hardware reserved:11mb

    In Use:1910mb

    Modified:64mb

    Standby:2055mb

    Free:56mb

    Meanwhile what do you think about the above figures..

    Time again to look again at the scene of the crime for new clues <G>.

    In Windows 7 use Ctrl+Shift+Esc rather than Ctrl+Alt+Del. It gets you to Task Manager quicker. Select Task Manager, the Performance tab, Resource Monitor, and Memory tab. What are the figures for Hardware Reserved, In Use, Modified, Standby and Free?

    Please provide a copy of your System Information file. Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key (alternative is Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information). Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed. You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload to your Sky Drive, share with everyone and post a link here. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode.

    Please upload and share with everyone copies of your System and Application logs from your Event Viewer to your Sky Drive and post a link here.

    To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window select Windows Logs and System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and Save All Events as (the default evtx file type) and give the file a name. Do the same for the Applications log. Do not provide filtered files.

    After the chkdsk job finished and the computer rebooted automatically, no more problems from there on for the duration of the session...no matter what i did..

    The next morning FREEZE..boom... while browsing my newspaper on chrome...

    Oftentimes, when the computer freezes the FAN starts to spin in full speed and stays like this until i hard boot.. no hard disk lights are on....the computer responds to nothing else except the power button and to the power plug...othertimes the computer will freeze with no fan activity.

    I have noticed that several times freezing begins while browsing the web.... could that have to do something with Flash or Shockwave... who knows...
