I went to the BIOS just to verify one more time that the computer freezes even while inside the BIOS (InsydeH20 rev 3.5)...

The only change i have made to the BIOS default settings is to set the FAN from ALWAYS ON to AUTO... meaning to be starting when needed and NOT to run all the time heating and dirting my laptop.

I got on the desktop long enough to schedule another "chkdsk c: /f/r" job and restart...the job finished with no problems this time.. Meaning the computer did not freeze up during the job and that NO bad sectors or files were found.

What are the next steps?

PS. I dont think that the problem is hardware related.. my hardware are top notch

My feeling is that the problem is low level software related....a memory conflict somewhere maybe an exception violation....of course never say never

I just re run sfc /scannow to verify OS consistancy -no problems found

Like i said, the lowest point of failure is observed inside the BIOS.. this is the guide to further analysis of the problem... excluding hardware failure..

Why are you messing with the BIOS? Have you changed any of the default settings there?

Well, rebooting for the 3d time i skipped the check disk thinking whats the point and now i cant get passed the Welcome screen.

Froze three times at the welcome screen.. then got into BIOS... froze there as well while scrolling the menu items...

Leave it running when you go to bed. You need the task to complete! It would be sensible to disable sleep / hibernation temporarily.
