The Windows 7 Windows Experience Index reports it cannot run due to an error of the OS, driver or component.  I am new to Windows 7, having used XP for a very long time.  I can't use chkdsk while using the computer and I looked at the system, the statuses of which said OK.  Help , please!

    Gerry,

I hope this link works as I found the three folders when I accessed the One Drive. Maybe I hadn't done the "share"  correctly.?.  Again, my apologies to someone who is only trying to help.

You have mastered Sky Drive. You still have problems with getting the right copies of the Event Viewer logs. When you place the cursor on System do not then place the cursor in the list before selecting Export. You need to capture the whole log. What you did captures a single report. The same comment applies to the Application log.

Please upload the complete log files.

You seem to have been running the Network Diagnostics Framework tool. What problem were you experiencing?

    Gerry,

    Here goes my second attempt....

I have (I think) followed your instructions to get all the event viewer logs but I don't know if they are the complete logs.   I think I was running the Network Diagnostic tool to try to get my laptop to connect to the printer connected with this new computer.  I  gave up and ran it (wirelessly) to the other computer still running XP.

Sorry to have taken a few days before responding.  Was out of town onmoving parents to assisted living facility.

The good news is that the two logs came just as they should do. The bad news is that I could not spot exactly when you had the error. Notwithstanding that I did find a possible clue as to what could cause the problem you describe.

You have installed FixCleaner. FixCleaner is software that I would not allow on any computer under my control.  I suggest that it is uninstalled. Select Start, Control Panel, Programs and Feature, place the cursor on FixCleaner, right click and select Uninstall from the drop down menu. Restart the computer.

Next try re-running the Performance assessment noting the exact date and time. If it fails please upload fresh Event Viewer logs to your OneDrive and post a link here.
