Press the Enter key after each command: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit, and then press Enter. Run Windows Update again. If you have C:\Users\Default and you have used the Windows Update troubleshooter and completed the DISM commands but still experience Error 0x80070003 please contact Microsoft Support so that we can further investigate your issue.

Keep in mind this is just the Windows patches. So if you have Office or some other piece of software, you may be catching an additional update for those platforms. As soon as this reboots from installing 2919355 I can grab a list.

I'm still in the process of doing a few steps that I do prior to running windows update, disk cleanup, /startcomponentcleanup, running /restorehealth and /scanhealth to make sure no corruption exists, etc., and I should be ready to install updates within the hour (not sure why I get 1 more "important updates" than most others are getting [45]). EDIT: Do you know if there is a list of the 45 updates most are getting after doing a repair install or clean install of 8.1? I'm curious to know which 1 is the extra one and why I'm getting 1 more update than it seems everyone else (46 vs 45).

I apologize, I definitely misread that in your post on page 3. I'm not sure how I missed that, but I did. This has never been about me being right and you being wrong, as I 've said, you know far more about Windows than I do, and I respect that. You had asked twice for the KB #'s, once on this thread and once on the other thread, and someone else had also asked what the 11 were. Since I cleared my update cache, it deleted the update history, which prevented me from listing the 11 patches that became available. However, the question about which 11 are offered after 2919355 is a very good question, and I thought it was worth the time to do another repair install so I could provide the information you and others have been requesting. Also, I know you mentioned about not have an 8.1 iso... what version of Windows are you running? If you have 8.1 Pro x64, I can upload the ISO I grabbed from the 8.1 installer when I went from 8 to 8.1.
