Nokia Lumia 520( cyan) : Airplane mode stuck and rapidly switching on and off

I was using Lumia Black and updated it to 8.1 ( Cyan) from my phone itself ( official release). I updated to Cyan OS not longer than a month back. Everything was fine, until recently, a couple of days earlier, when I was talking to a freind of mine on my phone, the call dropped. A notification to restart my phone appered so I did it. Ever since I am stuck on the , " Airplane mode". The flight mode will rapidly switch on and off. So, I am unable to use my Sim and thus, no whatsapp, no calls..social life has been paralyzed. 

I tried Hard reset ( about menu-> reset your phone) :- three times

Soft reset:- several times

Changed SIM :- a dozen times

Tried the twitter team suggestion ( I had found on this forum itself :- http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Nokia-Lumia/Lumia-1520-3-and-official-8-1-stuck-airplane-mode/td-p/2855086)

Now trying Nokia Software Recovery Tool 1.5.0 but the problem is that it is downloading 3058.50000.1425.0001, which I beleive is 'Cyan' again. I am also worried, I won't be able to downgrade to Lumia black  which I am missing a lot. Anwho, I am  currently downloading it and will see what happens, but If Nokia's Technical team can provide a solution for this software/firmware related glitch, I will be a happy fella. I am wondering, about the first occurence of this problem which I researched as being reported on Nokia official forums, 2-3 months back. By now a trustworthy solution should have been found and posted online.

    CareSuite servers are offline, could you (or anybody else) upload 1.5GB file?

    Also tried the windows phone recovery tool and still the airplane mode problem persists.

    I am a really big fan of windows phone...And have succeeded convincing a lot of people to switch to windows phone...

    But now am so disappointed after facing the same airplane mode problem 4 consecutive times with 4 different windows 8.1 phones...now all i can say is that i hate windows phone and i will never ever buy one ever in my life again.Its like these guys have no idea how painful enough it is to even help their uses by providing a trusted solution to this annoying problem...What sucks most is that the problem arises when u need the phone most and u might probably not be financially prepared to replace it so it might take a few months...

    Can confirm.

    It works with Nokia Software Updater for Retail

    Had a 520 with 8.1 Denim, after a reboot got stuck in airplane mode and the phone had no IMEI

    The update is even BETTER, because it installs Here Drive+ and HERE Maps back again,

    You cannot get Here Drive+ via store for windows phone 8 anymore !!!!!!!!!

    But after the recovery you get the apps back again !!!! wohooo

    I've tried really everything but nothing worked. Then I've tried NSUR as a last resort - and it worked :)

    Download NSUR (Nokia Software Updater for Retail) software. This one solved my problem (Same as above- Flight Mode continuous ON, Volume keys no response, no audio, no sim error, etc.). Use this to come out of this strange issue.
