Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to be disabled

I got following error message while I log in to my windows account and only my account.

I tried to set Windows Live ID sign-In Assistant to manual start in Windows Services. it only works one time, once I start using Windows Live mail and log out and log back in then I get error messaged again. I tried to msconfig and uncheck Windows Live IS Sign-In that I do not see error message, but  Windows Live Mail cannot launch,

I use Windows 7 Home Premium version.

It looks like that it has something with Windows Live mail,

    By the way, I ran the "Microsoft Fix it 50931" (which is supposed fix this problem) but it died before it installed. The error message is "Service 'msoidsvc [msoidsvc] failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." Well I do and can start system service!!! Dang you! Stay tuned.

    Well, as the script of an old horror movie goes, "they're back." I think it is time to ditch "windows live [un]essentials." Stay tuned.

    Thank you for your suggestion Richard.BXL.

    This afternoon I ran a repair of "Windows Live Essentials" and used the "tweaking.com" ("all in one windows repair") software to make some additional repairs and the pop-up seems to have gone away. (I did a number of restarts and the error did no appear again.) If it does, I will uninstall live essentials.

    But perhaps it's time to uninstall windows and Microsoft and move to Linux. I have had enough of these silly problems and lack of support from Microsoft. MS support is now as bad as that provided by Cyberlink. We send log after log after log of information and nothing happens. It's called getting the run-around. They want us to go away.

    As a long time user of MS OS even before it was called windows - remember DOS - I was willing to stick with windows as long as I could dual boot windows and Linux on the same machine. It is rumored that Windows 10 is not likely to support dual boot; if true, it will not be possible to run both windows and Linux on the same machine. If that happens, I might just move to Linux and put an end to this insanity.

    Uninstall windows live essentials.  I did this a few weeks ago and the pop-up went away and I haven't encountered any other problems.

    Hello,

    I started to have this problem about 10 days ago. Read all the posts. I think Microsoft has washed its hands of the problem and we are on our own. Someone out there must have the answer to this problem. Is there one sure way to stop this annoying pop-up? The link in the pop-up isn't helpful (takes me outlook.com mail).
