Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to be disabled

I got following error message while I log in to my windows account and only my account.

I tried to set Windows Live ID sign-In Assistant to manual start in Windows Services. it only works one time, once I start using Windows Live mail and log out and log back in then I get error messaged again. I tried to msconfig and uncheck Windows Live IS Sign-In that I do not see error message, but Windows Live Mail cannot launch,

I use Windows 7 Home Premium version.

It looks like that it has something with Windows Live mail,

Hi,

   Any update for this?

   Can you find any thing from log and configure files?

   Why takes so long for the issue?

   It is a little bit too long to wait about 4 months for this,

   Are you sure it is an issue of the Windows or other issues?

I have this problem too. Several people have had success changing the startup type to automatic - delayed start. How do you do this?

Dear carolmso

Type in 'services' in the search bar of the start button, double-click on the search result (should only be one).

Scroll down to the service 'windows live id sign-in assistant' and double-click on the service line.

In the resulting pop-up you can change the 'start-up type' of this service. Click OK etc. after changing and then close the services window. Try a restart (preferably cold boot) to test the changes.

I have mine set to 'manual' while I await a response from MS. All other options did not work for me

good luck

FYI I did this and set it to "Disable" and no more popup.

Is this problem resolved? I have the same stupid issue pop up again and again and I browse through the various thread seem no solution to the stupid simple problem! Please advise!
