I got following error message while I log in to my windows account and only my account.

I tried to set Windows Live ID sign-In Assistant to manual start in Windows Services. it only works one time, once I start using Windows Live mail and log out and log back in then I get error messaged again. I tried to msconfig and uncheck Windows Live IS Sign-In that I do not see error message, but  Windows Live Mail cannot launch,

I use Windows 7 Home Premium version.

It looks like that it has something with Windows Live mail,

Your help and information is great appreciated,

Regards,

Souris,

Thanks for the information and help,

    I read your posts.

It works only one time when reboot the machine when I change automatic to delay or manual for the service.

It makes sense that the service does not start, but it reappear if I log out and log back in to Windows, since the service is running,

Do you have multi accounts on your Windows 7 machine?

Does it work on your machine if you log out and log in the machine?

I checked the thread, but I do not see your adjustment,

can you please advise your adjustment?

Can some one from Microsoft from this forums to confirm it is a virus?

    Thanks again,

The Support Centre is just chasing money. The (faceless) support person you talked to doesn't have a clue. Having worked in the Support environment for over 15 years I know that many of the support staff make (un)educated guesses and are just chasing budget dollars as per the dictate from their supervision. I adjusted some settings (see much earlier in the post) and haven't had a problem since. I run Microsoft Essentials and Live programs without issue.

I chatted with Microsoft and they told me it was a virus and my choice was to pay either 149.00 or 99.00 for support from Microsoft to fix the problem.

    Thanks for the message,

    ok, it is a virus,

Can you please advise how I can contact Microsoft to fix the issue?

Is it a serious virus? any damage to the system?

Should I just re install the Windows to fix?
