Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to be disabled

I got following error message while I log in to my windows account and only my account.

I tried to set Windows Live ID sign-In Assistant to manual start in Windows Services. it only works one time, once I start using Windows Live mail and log out and log back in then I get error messaged again. I tried to msconfig and uncheck Windows Live IS Sign-In that I do not see error message, but Windows Live Mail cannot launch,

I use Windows 7 Home Premium version.

It looks like that it has something with Windows Live mail,

I have this problem too. Several people have had success changing the startup type to automatic - delayed start. How do you do this?

Type in 'services' in the search bar of the start button, double-click on the search result (should only be one).

Scroll down to the service 'windows live id sign-in assistant' and double-click on the service line.

In the resulting pop-up you can change the 'start-up type' of this service. Click OK etc. after changing and then close the services window. Try a restart (preferably cold boot) to test the changes.

I have mine set to 'manual' while I await a response from MS. All other options did not work for me

Dear All

This error message has just started happening to me (yesterday) and occurs at each and every start-up. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with SP 1 and latest updates applied as at June 19. I would be very interested to hear of a permanent resolution

And yes, it is necessary to disable your firewall so that we could sort out the issue if your firewall causes it. To disable it, you might need to contact your firewall support team for assistance.

Windows Essentials includes Movie Maker, Photo Gallery, Writer and Windows Live Mail. Can you clarify when you said "how many program will be affected by the Windows Essential?".
