Surface Arc Touch Mouse not compatible on Windows 7?

Hey all. I recently bought a Surface Pro 2. I later bought a Surface Arc Mouse. Long story short, I had to return my Surface. So, as of now I am on my laptop and I cannot get my laptop's bluetooth to discover my mouse (it's in discovery mode).

I tried googling around and couldn't find anything. Am I stuck?

    I hope this helps the others which went through the same thing as me using Windows 7.

    I had the same problem but spent about 3 hours fiddling, even going to Samsung's site to download the latest driver (weirdly the install failed), and in the end I just went to Intel's website to download the latest drivers for the Wifi and Bluetooth chipset.

    Voila it worked, and it recognizes as an actual mouse itself! With no reconnecting or whatsoever required.

    Go try updating your wireless drivers from whichever chipset manufacturer that made it, either from the laptop manufacturer or the chipset manufacturer. It worked for me..

    You are exactly right. The mouse now works with my IBM T460s. I do notice sometimes it flakes out and I have to use the onboard "eraser" head mouse, but that is OK for now. I actually like the audible haptic response on the mouse.

    Pushed the pairing button a million times. New out of box, new batteries no pairing to a Lenova running Windows 10 Pro go figure. It shouldn't be to much to ask for this mouse to work on any laptop.
