Hey all. I recently bought a Surface Pro 2. I later bought a Surface Arc Mouse. Long story short, I had to return my Surface. So, as of now I am on my laptop and I cannot get my laptop's bluetooth to discover my mouse (it's in discovery mode).
I tried googling around and couldn't find anything. Am I stuck?

2018-03-09T01:40:13+00:00 I got mine working in Win7 by going to my laptop manufacturers (DELL) website and getting the most recent Bluetooth drivers. Their driver has BLE support.

Hope my experience could help the rest of you who is still hesitant to it.
We run EliteBook G3 laptops on Windows 7 64 bit, (work PC), and there is no Low Energy BT Driver as standard.
Was considering a Nano USB from Maplin, but I wanted the additional USB port the current mouse was using, so came here.
This (above) worked a charm.

Installed drivers (I'm a local Admin)
Rebooted
Surface mouse found instantly, and device drivers loaded (standard HID drivers).

2017-08-12T23:53:19+00:00 It is a Surface Arc Mouse, not a PC Arc mouse, specially made to complement the Surface machines. There is no provision for it to be used with anything but a Surface.
There are similar mice for PC's in general within the Microsoft range. Perhaps you could return the mouse, explaining the predicament and exchange it for a similar mouse which would work on either system type..
I wish you guys spent more time training your staff. Today i bought a Microsoft Arc Mouse which turned out to be not compatible with my Windows 7 machine. The sales person at Microsoft Store, Beackwood Place, OH said "Its Bluetooth .. I have no reason to believe that it wont work on your Windows 7" .. He was simply wrong!
