i had windows 8.1 installed. I even got the reservation for windows 10. but at 99% of downloading to upgrade an error message appears in the windows update dialogue box. thus preventing me to upgrade to windows 10. After successful attempts. I failed to upgrade. I called the customer care of HP. They after hearing everything and giving me the case id (which is: 4757399378) told me to format my system to factory settings which returns me back to Windows 8. Which I did as per their instructions. But Very Unfortunately after multiple successive attempts to even to Upgrade to Windows 8.1 has become a nightmare for me. I am constantly trying to upgrade to windows 8.1 which after two days I have failed. Please can you help me with my problem. I WANT TO UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10 JUST LIKE ANY OTHER PC.

My PC Details is as follows.

    Pr. No. D5F89PA#ACJ

    PLEASE HELP ME

I've noticed this error can turn up when windows isn't 'ready', such as wanting to do a Defender scan. In these cases I presume it's by design, but the message isn't unhelpful.
