"New software update for Nokia X Dual SIM (RM-980): v. 1.2.4.1/1.2.4.21. This is a global release and available via OTA (Over-The-Air). Find the update instructions from here:http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/nokia-x-software-update/

Key changes compared to previous 1.1.2.2 SW version include:

  • Enjoy improved ease of use with the new app switcher - switch easily between open apps, or close apps with a single tap.
  • Instant access to your mail, calendar, and notes with Outlook.com and OneNote.
  • Updated Nokia Store - new design to help you find content more easily, and better integration with third-party stores.
  • New scrollable widgets, call reject with a message, contact search in the dialler, automatic uploading to OneDrive, and local calendar support.
  • General performance and usability improvements."

    Whatsapp and whatsapp+ are third party applications. System software update hasn't has to do anything much with this.

    whats app is not supported by nokia xl/x but u can go with whats app+

    Whatsapp problem is not a problem with Nokia X family, actually whatsapp doesn't support Nokia X.

    Whatsapp app doesn't recognize Nokia X as compatible device, although. Nokia X is a compatible device.

    I just wish, if it will completely inherit vertical call sliding style from Windows phone, it will be nice.

    it's a petty nokia faced the x family, it is the best nokia I ever used. it's better than the lumia to me. so am anxiously waiting for the update.
