Unable to install KB2919355 -Error codes 0246007 , 8024000B , 80073712 , 80070002

Original title: recurring error on windows 8.1 update

i have been trying to update my current windows 8.1 to windows 8.1 update but run to so many errors namely 80246007 , 8024000B ,  80073712 , 80070002 i tried doing the dism.exe thing from the command line but the error just keeps coming back also i followed this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42335 to isolate which KB is the error coming from (KB2919355)

i also tried manual install but the same error i am pretty much frustrated and there is the threat that if you don't update to windows 8.1 update you wont receive future patches ironically you can't install the update

any help will do

    So, what shall we do next Microsoft?

    It's still not working. Or, is this now somehow the "users" problem. I'm afraid that re-installing Windows 8 and then 8.1 is not really a satisfactory option as I have a lot of programmes loaded..all working without problem, and to spend the best part of this coming week re-installing them and updating service packs etc, is not a viable option, nor is is cost effective for my clients. I refuse to believe that there is somehow "something wrong" with my Windows 8.1 installation, and I believe that there IS something wrong with this "critical" update.

    Further, to threaten us with the statement that if we don't install this non-installable update we will not receive further important updates, is, in my view, unacceptable.

    actually i have tried everything mentioned in this thread and on my own searching on the web basically they are all the same and some what revolving on the errors stated above so doing anything else is but unnecessary right now i have exhausted every suggestion to no avail i love using windows 8.1 but this update is a night mare to install

    Unfortunately the assumption with most of these suggestions and fixes and other "workarounds" is that the problem lies with the user. Perhaps the problem is with the update, but don't let that stop you or anyone else from continuing to try all of the suggestions, fixes and workarounds.

    after following all your suggestion it ended the same and the error is 80070002 this time i think the errors are just interchanging to what type of commands issued on the CMD

    running the update trouble shooter returns the shot below
