New software update for Nokia 110/111/112/113/114: v. 3.51

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 110 (RM-827), Nokia 111 (RM-810 & RM-811), Nokia 112 (RM-837) & Nokia 113/114 (RM-871): v. 3.51. This is a minor update and already available for many of the countries/regions via FOTA. These phone models do not support SW updates via Nokia Suite. Key changes compared to previous 3.47/3.48 SW versions include:

  • Fix for the Media Player sometimes not recognizing the albums, artists and genres.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

    Is there any admin in this forum as i see that there is no helpful solution from the admin.i think they can only do a thing i.e. Post deleting.

    I am from india.why i can't update my nokia 114 to v3.51.it show no new sw available while some other mobile (same model,same operator,same location) receive the update.Nokia care point said that 3.47 is the least version for my device.so how can i update my phone?when v3.51 is available for my device ? reply must otherwise i will never buy a fool nokia device.

    Nokia 114 does not support data cable (there's no USB-connector in the phone at all). So Over-The-Air (FOTA) update is the normal update method. If the update does not show up on your phone when you go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Device updates and click "downl. phone sw", that means that the update is not available for your phone currently.

    @armagon,

    hi, when the update v3.51 will available for my device?it is not locked by any network.beside my friend who use same device,same network(vodafone) already get the update via fota.

    If this model does not support usb so how nokia care reflash this device?is there any other way to do it ?

    Any idea when this will update be available in Greece?

    What does the phone check before deciding if it has an available update? The primary SIM operator? The country of the primary SIM? Or something else?
