New software update for Nokia 110/111/112/113/114: v. 3.51

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 110 (RM-827), Nokia 111 (RM-810 & RM-811), Nokia 112 (RM-837) & Nokia 113/114 (RM-871): v. 3.51. This is a minor update and already available for many of the countries/regions via FOTA. These phone models do not support SW updates via Nokia Suite. Key changes compared to previous 3.47/3.48 SW versions include:

  • Fix for the Media Player sometimes not recognizing the albums, artists and genres.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

    There is no chance to update from 3.48 to 3.51 with sd card plugged in !!!, i found out few moments ago. It always said error after installation, *#7370# did not help at all. After i unplug sd it went smoothly.

    SW contains a lot of BUGs, just try to set SIM lock off(starting without PIN code request) for both SIMS, if you turn off the phone it will turn on by itself after 10-15 seconds !!! Yes there is workaround, set fly mode and then turn off :) it won´t turn on in that case.

    Anyway great phone, battery last for 2 weeks without charging :)

    When will nokia 110 support whatsapp its already supporting line but i want whatsapp my sw version is 3.47 when will sw 3.51 will come in Kolkata Gardern Reach??

    I see, v3.51 is just a 'bug fix'. So when will you be having a major SW update? I suggest you should include some useful app such as watsapp, dictionary and even a search engine. Also the seetings and appearance like brightness control and more themes. The equalizer should be included too. You know, my nokia 110 really lacks of features and the appearance is worst. I hope this will be included. Im looking forward for your next SW update. More power!

    I have checked for update V 3.51, 100 of times, its not avilable for my device, when its available for others, Please nokia provide any new software update for fixing the media player problem 'not recognising' the tags Artists, Albums, Generes, bcoz of previous sw update 'Nokia 112 V. 3.48 RM-837' mh2 Country code- 059P2F2, Product code- 059S612, Using country- India, Made in china...!
