New software update for Nokia 110/111/112/113/114: v. 3.51

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 110 (RM-827), Nokia 111 (RM-810 & RM-811), Nokia 112 (RM-837) & Nokia 113/114 (RM-871): v. 3.51. This is a minor update and already available for many of the countries/regions via FOTA. These phone models do not support SW updates via Nokia Suite. Key changes compared to previous 3.47/3.48 SW versions include:

  • Fix for the Media Player sometimes not recognizing the albums, artists and genres.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

    i also use nokia 114 v3.47 .when i cheek for sw update it show no new sw update is available.when v3.51 available for me? i am from india,my device is nok locked by any network.

    Bad luck, i am regularly checking for nokia 112 V. 3.51 updates & but till thats not available in india...!

    if your having troubles installing the new software, might as well see the previous posts. It'll help though. Itr either your lack of memory or your phone needs a visit to the care center. If it always says 'installation failed', restore your phone and try to install again. Trust me, i'll work.

    Hello, I just got a Nokia 113 locked to Vodafone in Romania. 2 days ago I checked for updates and it updated my phone to 3.32.

    I checked today again just for kicks and the phone tells there is another update available. Searching a bit on the net and on this forums tells me the latest update is 3.51. Awesome then. I proceeded downloading the update (which works ok) and then I proceeded with the installation.

    The phone restarts once or twice, as normal and then a promt appears telling me that the install failled. I tried updating twice, the installation failed twice.

    Is there something I can do?

    <EDIT> Apparently the update worked once I chose to make a backup first.
