New software update for Nokia 110/111/112/113/114: v. 3.51

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 110 (RM-827), Nokia 111 (RM-810 & RM-811), Nokia 112 (RM-837) & Nokia 113/114 (RM-871): v. 3.51. This is a minor update and already available for many of the countries/regions via FOTA. These phone models do not support SW updates via Nokia Suite. Key changes compared to previous 3.47/3.48 SW versions include:

  • Fix for the Media Player sometimes not recognizing the albums, artists and genres.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

    Then, your file system got corrupted. A software-update over-the-air does not and cannot recreate that. Because your phone does not have a USB port, officially, the Nokia Software Recovery Tool is no option. Consequently, I would go for the hammer – sending it back to your dealer who in turn sends it over to a local but genuine Nokia Care Centre sound like a total financial loss in your case.

    that is, before we die. Or perhaps, admit Nokia is unable to do better and release the old software witha new version number. this should be makeable within half a day. Its incredible how Nokia manages to waste the time of thousands of users and buyers. Software updfate for 112 is unavailable here in Austria, too, and since large parts of my software went corrupt - including the original themes - it seems the best solutionis a large hammer and goodbye to Nokia, and dont wonder why they must die - see who dies first.
