New software update for Nokia 110/111/112/113/114: v. 3.51

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 110 (RM-827), Nokia 111 (RM-810 & RM-811), Nokia 112 (RM-837) & Nokia 113/114 (RM-871): v. 3.51. This is a minor update and already available for many of the countries/regions via FOTA. These phone models do not support SW updates via Nokia Suite. Key changes compared to previous 3.47/3.48 SW versions include:

  • Fix for the Media Player sometimes not recognizing the albums, artists and genres.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

    "Invalid application" errors - you can try factory resetting the phone (by dialing *#7370# - remember to backup userdata first!). But most likely that will not help. The last resort from recovering from that situation would be to take the phone to a Nokia Care service point for reflashing.

    In india, Nokia 112 RM - 837 v 3.51 software is available in only old variant 00.00, it is not available in new variant 277.01 any one can tell when it avilable in new variant phones...?

    Hello, I have a serious problem with my Nokia here. I upgraded to the newest firmware 03.48 (13-06-13), and in the music player under Artists/Albums/Genres I always get only 1 item - "(unknown)". The MP3 files have ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags. So, can I downgrade my firmware or fix this in some other way? Version 3.51 is unavailable here in Bulgaria - the telephone offers me an upgrade that is 186kb, but when I try to install it, it always fails.

    I need a solution, otherwise I'm gonna return that piece of **** to the store...
