New software update for Nokia 110/111/112/113/114: v. 3.51

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 110 (RM-827), Nokia 111 (RM-810 & RM-811), Nokia 112 (RM-837) & Nokia 113/114 (RM-871): v. 3.51. This is a minor update and already available for many of the countries/regions via FOTA. These phone models do not support SW updates via Nokia Suite. Key changes compared to previous 3.47/3.48 SW versions include:

  • Fix for the Media Player sometimes not recognizing the albums, artists and genres.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

    If the phone says "no update available", then you are already running the latest available SW version for your phone. SW update availability depends on several things, such as country/operator approvals. See.

    It has been now close to 6 months when the 3.51 SW update originally started rolling out and I'm sorry to say, but if your phone has not received the update yet, it's quite possible that it also won't be getting it. We try to publish the updates as widely and quickly to for all the users as possible, but if some country or operator has not approved the new SW version, phones running that specific SW variant will not also get the update.

    Any idea when this will update be available in Greece?

    What does the phone check before deciding if it has an available update? The primary SIM operator? The country of the primary SIM? Or something else?

    @armagon,

    hi, when the update v3.51 will available for my device?it is not locked by any network.beside my friend who use same device,same network(vodafone) already get the update via fota.

    If this model does not support usb so how nokia care reflash this device?is there any other way to do it ?

    Nokia 114 does not support data cable (there's no USB-connector in the phone at all). So Over-The-Air (FOTA) update is the normal update method. If the update does not show up on your phone when you go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Device updates and click "downl. phone sw", that means that the update is not available for your phone currently.
