Still years away. And obviously it should be better... That's the point of a new version.

    Where are you getting that info from? Everything I've read said that the name isn't even decided on yet. A release that soon is pretty much out of the question.

    Windows 9 is releasing on 21st of September. If not some great change to Windows OS is coming on 21st September.

    Waiting to see some great changes.

    I always loved all Windows OS except for VISTA! which totally sucked!

    what MIGHT be released later this month is a technological preview of the next version of windows. stop spreading misinformation.

    1. That statement is definitely incorrect. Microsoft has not yet
      announced a release date. It will probably be sometime around next
      April, but even that isn't definite.
    2. Microsoft has not yet decided (or if they have decided, they
      haven't yet announced) what the name of the next version of Windows
      will be. It may be Windows 9, but it also may not be.
