Windows 9 release Date?

In my efforts to get rid of Windows 8.1 I failed (messed up) and my PC had to be sent back to the factory and it came back after 3 weeks with the system reset to the original Windows 8.1. I feel so tired and have given up.

Finally I installed a trial version of Directory Opus and Total Commander. Both have many nice features, very customizable (like the line spacing) and tabs settings. If I buy one of them I will still have to buy another program for the 3D-look. And still some applications (and PC settings) will continue to open full screen (horrible on 2560x1440) hiding all the rest. I like to try things out on one side of the screen while reading info about it on the other side.

Software should be user friendly,intuitive and customizable. And especially an operating system that is used by so many (and different) people all over the world.

You are older.  I'm just 70.  I started with IBM 7044, 1620 and 1401.  I carried an Osborne all over the US for awhile.  Oh well, enough reminiscing.  Thanks for stumbling across my post.  :-)
