Windows 9 Release Dates
While no official release date has been announced by Microsoft, Windows 9 is rumored to be released on or close to April, 2015.
Your reply makes it sound like you are trying to contradict me, but
you are not; you are saying much the same thing I did. As I said, "It
will probably be sometime around next April, but even that isn't
definite" -

Windows 9, once released, will be the successor to Windows 8, Microsoft's most current version of Windows.
It's very likely that Windows 9 will be released in three phases, similar to how Windows 8 was released.
First will probably be a Windows 9 Developer/Technology Preview, which is a beta release for software and hardware makers. Current rumors are that this early version of Windows 9 will be available on September 30, 2014.

Two points:
- That statement is definitely incorrect. Microsoft has not yet
announced a release date. It will probably be sometime around next
April, but even that isn't definite. - Microsoft has not yet decided (or if they have decided, they
haven't yet announced) what the name of the next version of Windows
will be. It may be Windows 9, but it also may not be.

2014-09-03T15:22:01+00:00 Where are you getting that info from? Everything I've read said that the name isn't even decided on yet. A release that soon is pretty much out of the question.
