Windows 9 release Date?

I've been using computers since 1962, and PCs since 1983 or so.

Wow, someone who's been in computing longer than me.  That's great.  I started in 1964.  Mostly PCs but some MAC usage along the way.  Thanks for your insights.

Earliest would appear to be 3rd quarter 2015 for full release of Windows 10.

Thank you for the update.  I had heard that Windows 9 would be changed to 10 before a possible release date, but it is good to hear it from additional sources.

I look forward to seeing what Windows 10 has to offer, as I am trying to determine if I can stay with Windows products, or be forced to change to Apple.  Most of my friends have changed to Apple, but I guess I am still in hopes of a Windows product that can put it on more of an equal footing with Apple.
