It didn't work. In fact, HotSpot Shield messed up my ASUS Smart Gesture. I was unable to scroll while viewing web pages.
I uninstalled the software, and everything went back to normal.
Any more ideas guys? This problem is sooooooo frustrating. :(

Original Title; I can't update or install windows 8 pro apps.
i've tried all of your methods but still not working. i troubleshoot the apps, create another microsoft account, creat a local account, clean the registry, refreshed, reset and reinstalled windows but the problem is still there. it says, Error code: 0x8020002e. i have a good internet connection.

Try installing Hotspot Shield. Download it for free, and install it on your computer. Run the program, and (I don't know if these are the exact words, but, you can get it) click on the protect your computer. Once your computer is protected, try downloading in windows store. And 0x8020002e will not appear, and the download will be successful! I just did it, and downloaded a lot of apps today :D
Hope this works for you guys. My ISP is Globe, same as you guys :D

2013-06-09T11:30:46+00:00 Yeah! I'm from Philippines too! Try switching on a different ISP. Maybe it's on your zone. I'm using Smart Bro stick too but I'm having no problem with the Windows Store. It depends on your location.. Maybe. Meanwhile, just try changing your sim card to a different ISP. Walang anuman nga pala.
