Check to see if you are on a metered connection. I had to change my connection to non-metered to allow Lync to install.

Original Title; I can't update or install windows 8 pro apps.
i've tried all of your methods but still not working. i troubleshoot the apps, create another microsoft account, creat a local account, clean the registry, refreshed, reset and reinstalled windows but the problem is still there. it says, Error code: 0x8020002e. i have a good internet connection.

I disabled the AVG antivirus - Computer protection and it worked fine
Hi! So, what helped me is giving my computer to a technician who, somehow, got rid of the problem (I didn't tell him about it, I think) and now I have an easier time downloading apps. Check your connection. That might help....
I need an answer to this question also,i see these are a year old but if someone knows a solution please help, but i gotta make this end and use the store. i will find a solution and post results cause im not fitting to stop til i figure this out....
