Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

I hated this part of Win 8/8.1.  Don't understand why they never changed it.  However, updated to Windows 10 for free, problem solved.

They are forcsing everyone to update to latest OS - Windows 10.

I really hate this why everyone is differrent! Someone like Windows 10 others are not or they are afraid they something will not worked propery on Windows10. Forced someone to change OS is stupid and annoying!

I never use Google Store first they are alot of useless Apps and second think is no delete/hide option in Windows 8.1. From date that was 8.1 released I install only 5 apps. Sure I create new Account then I test app on my second profile if I like it then I install it on my primary Account.

About Windows 10 sure I will install it not now I like 8.1 I never had any problem everythink work perfect so why installing Windows 10 is pointless.

DEVs are really stuped they just dont care for own users. Here people complained about apps for years and what DEVs did nothink I mean really nothink they could made update but no why because they dont care. When I be ready for Windows 10 I will install it BUT NO ONE WILL FORCED ME TO INSTALL WINDOWS 10  -> I WILL CHOSE THIS NOT SOME COMPANY. Is my computer and I will have/install what I like.

I always HATE when DEVs forcing users to change/install something even if user don´t like. This is really annoying and stupid!

I don't know if someone's posted this already in the twenty six & counting pages of ignored complaints about this major M$/Windows deliberate defect but, IMHO, it's obvious why M$ have set up the store controls to make this impossible:

EVERY APP THAT'S BEEN INSTALLED GETS ADDED TO THE 'USER TOTAL'...   INCLUDING ALL UNINSTALLED APP'S...  THE DEVELOPERS & M$ WANT TO MAKE THEIR SHODDY, OLD, VERY BAD APP'S LOOK POPULAR...  & M$ IS FRANTICALLY TRYING TO CATCH UP WITH GOOGLE PLAY-STORE & APPLE"S iSTORE USING DELIBERATELY MISLEADING USER NUMBERS.

If M$ only permitted good, useful, functional app's in their store from reliable developers who actually offer good support, they'd be catching up to Google & Apple by now, but it seems that M$ is still being managed by a board of Steve Ballmer wannabe's.  Too big to fail, Micro$oft?  (';')

I encountered the downloaded Apps problem recently. I do not know whether is is co-related or not, as I could not save or store the photos and videos taken recently in early October 2016. And I accidentally found the Apps problem. When I clicked in Store and My Apps , I found over 770 apps awaiting to be installed. I could not found a prompt to delete these 770 apps. I had to deleted one by one, by the time I deleted and I went back to My apps in the Store, there were still 770 apps pending to be downloaded.

Honestly , it is not a good design. I wish MS could do something about  this . Thank you.
