Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

I don't have any application history.   Guess I know the secret.

Just don't use that store thing.

So you advocate not using Windows 8 then or are you going with an Enterprise Side Loading license?

    FAO Microsoft support

Could you please tell us what happens next

This "feature" is obviously extremely unpopular and should be corrected as soon as possible.

Are you able to submit a request to get this sorted out and then keep us informed via this thread regarding progress?

Looking forward to a positive reply as I am getting used to Windows 8 now and this is the only thing I really cannot put up with.

    Thanks

I was just wondering about the same thing literally 5 min ago and found this thread. Please fix this issue microsoft. It doesn't make sense to have a unwanted app permanently stuck in "your app" section till eternity. I simply tried an app and didn't like it, but now I have to stuck with it forever? This is some great logic here...

Me too. After trying out a lot of apps I now have about six hundred uninstalled apps listed on my app history. And it's going to grow. This is useless, poor, badly conceived design. Fix it.
