how to delete the history of uninstalled apps in win 8 store

I would like to add my name to this ever increasing list.

With all the negative publicity about Windows 8 at the moment (mainly from people who don't appear to have actually used it!) it would be great if Microsoft could address certain issues that are bothering people who are actually using it.

I have a few minor gripes with Windows 8 at the moment but nothing too major. The lack of a permanent delete feature for unwanted apps is, however, top of my list.

Why would I want to see apps that I've tried and uninstalled in my app history until the end of time? I've only tried a couple and removed most of them and now my app list is 2/3 apps I want and 1/3 apps I never want to see again. Ever. What will my list look like in a few weeks / months / years? It'll be 99% cr@p I tried and didn't want and 1% useful stuff.

I've got a brand new machine, brand new Microsoft account and as far as I'm concerned I've permanently messed it up already because I've already got junk in there I can't remove. I know they're not taking up physical space on my machine but there's no way of looking at my apps without seeing the unwanted stuff there as well. It really is a stupid design decision. I'm trying to organise all my work etc and I now (until MS fixes this - hint!) got a load of stuff I can never remove. It'd be like having the old style "All Programs" list showing every application I'd ever installed. That'd would have been a really handy "feature"... I don't think! They're a bad smell that I can't get rid of!

Here's how to fix it:

(1) If it's a PAID app then make people tick a box which says something like "I understand that by permanently removing this app from account I forefit all rights to re-download it without re-purchasing" etc etc. Make them tick two just in case they're drunk. ****, make it three but that way there's no way they could accidentally remove something they've paid for and then complain about it later.

(2) If it's a FREE app then you could still have a tick box verification prompt but who the **** is going to care if they remove something free? No-one. You can simply re-"purchase" the FREE app again if you changed your mind later. Much better than having an app sit there for years on the off chance you decide to re-install it in 2018 to see if it really was as bad as you remembered.

Sorry this has turned into a rant but I guess it bugs me even more than I remembered when I started typing! :)

Also, all those asterisks above are apparently because the opposite of Heaven is a swear word. I wouldn't want people to think I was really swearing my head off ;-)

I also want to be able to organise my apps and remove some of the not installed apps.
