Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

Google Play finally added support for deleting Apps from the app history, I was very happy when I could finally do that. You see, most of the apps we try turn out to be junk, I want to be able to quickly go back to my app history and pick apps that I want to reload. Currently I have to wade through a sea of junk apps in the history to find the ones that I liked but have uninstalled, so please follow Google Play's lead and do the same if not better like I know Microsoft can.

    It's not a bug. It's a feature...an incredibly stupid feature.. but a feature.

As others have mentioned, let us at least delete free apps.

If you have paid-for apps, you have account information. If that's the case store your purchase history with that and access it whenever you need to. easy.

There's a solution that makes sense. MS just needs to figure it out instead of needlessly **** people off.

This is really stupid. Totally ridiculous, and a huge hassle for people who might want to try (and delete) lots of apps.

Fix it, this is not a feature. It is a bug.

Actually the purchases doesn't matter at all. If implemented, apps could be removed from the LIST of apps the user installed ever since it entered the store without interfering with the internal user account purchase history.
