Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

I have found its not only a design floor but the store also has a bug associated to this design floor.  I have installed apps then uninstalled those same apps then I have tested other apps to see if they are any better than the first app I installed.

It it turns out the original app was the best app so I went back to the list of apps that windows forces you to keep only to find that the original app won't install again. ( well it says it's installed but it's nowhere to be found) then when I check in my store app account it says that same app is not installed. I've tried trouble shooting, I've tried refreshing, I've tried restoring computer... But still the original installed app will not show after installing.

The only solution was to create a whole new outlook account and abandon my previous windows account along with my previous computer settings...

So Microsoft!!!!! This is the only solution to this terrible functionality.. Users must Abandon old Microsoft account to start fresh!!!

Nice work!!! Such smart cookies for a billion $ enterprise!

That is the most retarded decision I have ever heard of, I have installed ****, and I do mean "****" from windows store, and I don't want to constantly see that "****" if I don't want to.

I want the ability to remove things from that list.

I can do it on my Apple devices, I can do it on my Android devices, why not my Microsoft devices?

Until that feature is added, I will just never use the microsoft store.

you can delete apps from the my apps screen. simply right click the shortcut and click open file location, then delete the shortcut thart you find there. if you delete shortcuts to any metro apps or the desktop itself, they will cease to work.

I believe you have misunderstood what we are talking about on this thread. We want the ability to get rid of this garbage:

That is...erase the "Apps not installed on this PC" list.

NecroPsionic, what you have explained is the normal uninstall process. We are talking about removing the list of apps that have already been uninstalled.

    Regards.
