Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

I should have the ability AND option to clear my list of uninstalled apps.  Somehow, some way, the fact that my computer continues to hold this information means it is using memory I want to be freed up.  Also, as another user pointed out, an app might have been installed that was a mistake and the user wants there to be no record of it.

The "excuse" that they are kept for the convenience of an easier reinstall is laughable.  If I wanted the app I would have not deleted it!  Why do I care about a feature that makes something "easier" for my computer... isn't it supposed to be user friendly.

My IPhone is light years better than any Windows phone or program... nonsense like confirms that my next home computer purchase will probably be a MAC.  So much less hassle, way more USER FRIENDLY, and so on, and so on...
