And what happened when you clicked Open? You said that you received a prompt for open or cancel with the file that you downloaded from my SkyDrive.

You really need to start being a lot more forthcoming when supplying feedback to our questions and suggestions. We need specific detail, not generalities.

What was the nature of the malware found?

    1.  The most common way of opening the System Properties dialog box is to right click the My Computer icon on your desktop and click Properties.

    2.  Alternatively, you can go into the Control Panel and double click the System applet.

    1.  To quickly open the System Properties window, simply hold down the Windows key and the Pause/Break key at the same time. Your System Properties window will appear within a second or two.

    4.  as per Tricky300, go into windows\system32\system.cpl  and double click

Now, none of these work for you correct?

    1. you have run both MBAM and SAS, again and again until the scans show nothing detected?
    2. uninstall zone alarm here:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/zonealarm-uninstall-tool/

then ensure Windows firewall is turned on.

    1. did you read this before installing Microsoft Security Essentials?

    msinfo32

Click OK, and when the System Summary info appears, click Edit, Select All (Ctrl-A), Copy (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

You can edit out any personal information.

I have had to do this several times at different times, sometimes when I download a file from a skydrive, I would have to unblock before I could install or open, and once in awhile when I copy a file from my flash to my desktop,

Not consistent so I cannot decide if it is some setting somewhere. :)

However, I downloaded your file, from your skydrive, it was blocked, BUT, blocked or unblocked I could still doubleclick on it and open system properties. :)
