The system has recovered from a serious error

I've been having these for the last couple of months. I've been googling the details in the error report but don't really understand the error that's occurring. I think it 'might' be related to my NVidia graphics card or driver, but I have the latest driver, and that might not be the problem anyway.

I hope someone has some insight into this and can help figure it out and hopefully fix it! :-)

here's the report-

BCCode: 1000000a BCP1:00000166 BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000000 BCP4: 80E5443 OSVer: 5_1_2600 Sp: 3_0 product 768_1

When I look in the Event Viewer I see a red X, click properties and see 

Error code 1000000a, parameter1 00000166, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804e5443

How can I find specific Info on this error? Below that red X in Event Viewer I also see two yellow warning events, both have the source of asw Rdr. Is that a clue?

    When you access add/remove programs is there any listing for Nvidia? If so, uninstall it. Use Revo if possible although I do not believe Nvidia products are displayed in Revo. At least mine are not, but they are displayed in add/remove programs. If you uninstall Nividia run both Ccleaner and Glary afterwards.

    Boy quich reply Tech! Nope monitor still in same spot it has been for last 7 years. Any idea how to get my graphics card control panel back or where to find it? I'm registering on the NVidia forums right now.

    I did read about your graphics issue. There are a number of causes for this. It could be something as simple as having the monitor too close to a stereo speaker. The magnet inside the speaker can cause the screen act in this manner. Other electronic devices can as well. Have you recently moved the monitor or set something close to it? Even if such is not the case try moving the monitor around a little if possible to a new location just to see if the rippling effects change at all. I would like to see a screenshot of what you are referring to if possible.

    According to your previous post you were using FireFox during at least one of your bsod's. However, the dump file shows the crash was actually caused by COMODO Internet Security Helper Driver.

    Aside from the graphics issue, which I will continue to research, there is nothing we can do other than wait to see if the crashes stop as a result of the task you performed yesterday.

    Tried another driver, same problems. I thought it might be problems with the NVidia settings, but when I look in my system tray (?) I don't see the driver control panel anymore. I loked in Device manager but don't see it there. Where would I find it, and put it back in my sys tray??

     When I go to device manager and double click my NVidia GForce FX 5200 I still see "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

    where else can I go to ask for driver help?

    OK with me!

    have you been following my graphics driver issue? Everything is still rippleing, even scrolling in my browser. Any fix for that? When I go to device manager and double click my NVidia GForce FX 5200 I get "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

    when I go to the Driver tab it says "no driver files are required or have been loaded for this device"

    I went and got an updated driver because I thought it was causing the crashes, but it didn't help. I tried to roll it back to my 6.14.11.7519 version but couldn't (I forget why) so I went and downloaded that older version and installed it but still have the rippeling.

    I think I was mainly getting the bsod when using FFox, I'll try using it again and see what happens?
