Recieve a BSOD after KB2859537.

I agree with Rahul, it would be better if all CBS log files are shared. CBS logs when System is in the BSOD state before System restore would be needed for the team to investigate this issue.

Rahul might share more email addresses for official communication if needed. Else we can take it from Susan.

You'll need to do something like email-at-domain.com as the forum auto removed actual email addresses.

Do you need me to zip ALL the cbs files ? or just the CBS.log file ?

Wanted to add.

When I first experienced the BSOD at boot. It went into a fix it mode but it couldn't find anything.

So, it asked if I wanted to send MS the problem info and I sent it.

I checked all the suggestions here, virus, memory, checkdisk, scan /sfc.  no problems.

I uninstalled all the recent KB's and install them one at a time again except the KB 537. All the other KB's installed no problem and after checking all other possible causes. I tried again to install KB 537 and it booted again into the BSOD mode but this time, It didn't ask If I wanted to send MS the info it just rebooted with the last good restore and I just hid the KB 537 again.

The CBS logs would be needed from the system that is still in the BSOD state i.e. system restore is not performed. This is because on system restore the logs files are also restored.

It would be possible to get into the recovery mode command prompt and find the %windir% volume and copy all the CBS files on to a USB drive.

Thanks for your Reply. Please share in skydrive or any other as susan indicated, I will redirect it to exact team that can look at installation logs.

No issues, if it comes via Susan also. But CBS logs would be handy, if machine is in the same state.
