Recieve a BSOD after KB2859537.

Let me open a case so we can determine this.  Without a support case we're guessing.  All I know is what we have cases for or what others helping in communities have showcased.

We cannot confirm what we don't have cases for.  I am passing along reports of people investingating the issues.  Again, it will be free, I will set up a call back, all I need is your phone number.  Send an email to susan-at-msmvps.com (change the -at- to @)

Also make sure you boot from non windows media and scan "under" the operating system.  Scanning from a running Windows may not find it.

Not having nearly as bad issues as you are but this update has stopped dataram's RAMdisk from being able to setup any virtual memory on my laptop. can't figure out why either. I was using it right be fore I updated, now it tells me I can't allocate this much space towards memory.

So again you are implying there is a problem with my machines.  You won't come right out and say it but I know that you are implying that I should think there is a Rootkit on both my machines.  Sorry to tell you your scare tactics won't work.

#1 MS hasn't made a clear the connection between a problem with the update and rootkits.  Yes there appears to be some connection but they have not unchecked the update on only those machines with rootkits, they don't have that knowledge.  They unchecked it for everyone.

To make it clear I did not install this update either when it was first released or now. I have not reported anything other than the fact that the update is not checked.  Which is perfectly normal at this time.

#2 And even thought I don't need to justify anything to you when I read about the potential conflict with rootkits I ran the appropriate scans on my machine, including those suggested by you and Microsoft.  Both my machines are clean.

Again for you to imply that there is a problem with my machines when they are behaving exactly as they should and as MS expects by having this update unchecked is irresponsible and the owners of this site should be looking into your statements.

@PA Bear only.  I replied on that thread.  For you to imply that it is something related to my computers is utterly ridiculous as it is clear MS unchecked this update. 

As I said here and there,  I will wait to install this until MS deems the issue resolved to the point they either check this update or issue a new one to replace it.
