    You must be extremely loyal to MS if you think so many users experience fabricated problems!

    Not that it's any business of yours but...

    1. Loyal?  Ha!  In fact, MS MVPs have always been Microsoft's biggest (and loudest) critics!
    2. Your crystal ball needs a tune up: I said nothing whatsoever about anyone fabricating anything. AFAIK, neither did my colleague Susan.

    =========================================================

    Fact: MS MVPs are volunteers who neither represent nor work for Microsoft.

    Unless a patch causes a widespread massive issue with all machines, they won't pull it (just setting expectations, not making excuses)

    Can you list a bit more info for these impacted machines and would you be willing to open a phone support case with a Microsoft engineer?

    What version of Windows (XP, 7 home or pro?)

    32bit or 64bit?

    Are you seeing the exact same symptoms on all 50?

    Is it with the same application?  Appears to be Adobe in your screenshot?  What Adobe products do they have installed?

    It's Win 7 Pro x64, now some 65 clients, all with different configs and hardware. It's not only Adobe, the same error is coming up when you try to start almost any program. I have about 10 Win 7 Pro x86, no problems with them.

    I think the patch causes a widespread issue, just look on all google-results on KB2859537. It's time to back of and fix the error, otherwise there will be a whole lot of them the next few days.

    What I do know is that Microsoft support people had not yet reviewed the log files sent (and I still see them assigning the case around up there in the support queue - which I need to ask why they are doing that delaying the investigation)

    I had a call from MS this morning but I was at work - I asked him if anyone had looked at the logs - no.

    He said he'd get someone else to call me @7pm tonight once I was home. Still waiting.......

    Expect its either becuase they know what the issue is, or it's a hard one to diagnose so no one wants it. Good job I've worked in software for a very long time!
