I have found the cause of my problem.
I did not wait for the audio data to load before previewing, hence the bug.
I will test the solution above out and post my findings within the line below.
So far I can't make the problem happen. I will try the solution out when I get into the problem again and post my responses in a P.S.
Thank you so much.

I am having the same problem. I have a Samsung phone, video format 3g2, it is one of the formats listed that Movie Maker accepts. These videos play fine in QUick Time player, audio is there, but when I try playing them with Windows Media Player, or edit them in MOvie Maker, there is no audio. I do not understand where to look for codecs, and I am hesitant to download Media Info, not sure it is safe.
What name of codec should i be looking for and where? Tell me how to search for codecs in the computer.
you also suggest to convert videos to wmv format. how do you do that?
thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I have downloaded Media Info, copying here what the text says, as I am not sure what I should be googling to look for, am I needing a QCELP E1 codec? I googled QCELP codec, and search results do not point to a place to download one. Please provide a link where I can download one. THank you.
