I will answer all of your questions in this post. (outlined by bullets)
Starting from the middle one.
Q.2: I have no error message.
Q.3. 2012 build 16.4.3528.0331.
Q.1. I opened the program, and put in a video captured by OBS. (http://www.obsproject.com) OBS outputs .mp4 footage. (i usually export to .wmv since i use WMM for editing videos for youtube;.wmv uploads faster than .mp4.) Then I hit play to preview the movie. The problem occurs once the movie starts playing.
Also, some other info.
And, I am having a similar issue to the one first shown except the sound is cut off in every way, shape, or form thru the headphone jack, and is instead displayed thru the TV speakers.
So yeah. :-D
Thank you so much for doing what you can to help me.
Hello linkfan321,
We appreciate your reply and thank you for the information. Audio and video require codecs to play the file and it’s important to have the right codecs installed or updated in your PC.
Ensure that you have the proper codecs to play your videos and audio files.
Note: If can't find the codec, you may convert the video to a supported format (eg. wmv) and then add it to your Windows Movie Maker project.
