This works for me in Windows 8.1 to fix this:
type "services" in the Windows search box
From the list of services, choose Windows Audio
Stop the service, then
Start the service
Sound now plays in Movie Maker.

I am finding a problem with my Windows Movie Maker, I have run my videos through Media player and Am certain the sound is just fine there, but when I put it on movie maker, No audio at all no game sounds or talking from me. Please any fix to this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Thank you for visiting thread. First of, we would like to verify if you are also getting the same issue in Movie Maker. If yes, please provide us more information of your issue.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Regards.
There is no app called DTS Sound..
Thank you.
I could have been better to link me to this page:
https://support.microsoft.com/?ln=en-us&wa=wsignin1.0
But i could have went to that easily anyway. :3
Again, thank you very much.
:-D
[SUPER ROBOTO EDIT: I realized that doesn't allow me to do live chat or anything, just go to some FAQ's. So forget that part about that "I could have been better to link me to this page" poop.
Except for the thank you's.
Thank you so much,
:-D
SUPER ROBOTO EDIT OVER]
Also, about that "please verify if you can use the headset on other device to verify if the headset is working properly" thingey, I have used this headset on an Xbox 360 (they're a Turtle Beach Earforce X12 headset) with no problemos. (btw that means problem if you don't know basic spanish [is it basic spanish?]) So, i guess its mess-with-my-800-dollar-computer time!

Hello linkfan321,
Welcome to Microsoft Community forum. As to what I understood on your inquiry, you want to hear the audio on your headset instead on the speakers of your tv/monitor. If this is correct, please verify if you can use the headset on other device to verify if the headset is working properly. If there are no issues on your headset, there are settings that you need to change on your computer. Since you still have audio and the output is your main concern, we suggest that you contact our Windows support representatives for further assistance on your inquiry. You can contact them through the link below:
If you have other concern within Movie Maker, please let us know. We'll be here to help you.
Thank you.
